this is a real classic!... once pretty common,, but not any longer,,especially with the 'gem' eyes.. The gem eyes are 99% always a 'cabochon cut' to them. This has the good detail, thin band and polished inner band..
This pattern has period adverts,,photos in wear,, many with good provenance...
This is a very early one with the hallmark in a rounded off rectangle.. An excellent example of the pattern....

I've not seen a skull ring with obviously missing teeth before

Dave between WestWall and WestFront ring there are probably well over a 100.. A member here 'Gerd' wrote a monograph on them years ago , I send him much info for it.. Anyway,,I believe if you can find the topic you can download the book for free!!!!
