Its a Q64 If you look closely their are signs of Black Paint under the green and the Party Decal was placed over an existing one. I think this was originally an Allgemeine SS Helmet that was re-issued to the Waffen SS

Thanks, I have been a member for many years when Craig Gottlieb was involved I even have an original GD Party Pin still in the wrapper I just haven't been Active. This is my only SS Helmet I do have a few other helmets and other German Militaria that I will be posting.

To be honest with you I thought it was the same one I'm using now otherwise I don't remember . I know Larry Marcella and Matt ? were the Admins on the Helmet Forum at the time.

I had a few helmets when I was younger but never a SS... Would love to have one.. So many crazy things went on with them over the years you really have to be a 'specialist' to get one now days..
