Gentlemen, this Haenel dagger with complete Röhm dedication has been offered to me. I know the pics are not great and I will try to obtain more detailed ones but I would greatly appreciate any views !

Hello and welcome, Maralph,
You will need better picture of the blade, both sides, and the grip too.
So far it looks good and with a vertical hanger too.

Hi Dave, the Haenel was already gone but I received better pics of an Eickhorn on which I would very much appreciate your view.
The SA pastille shows obviously some marks of replacement but the eagle and the other parts of the dagger would look fine to me. Also it has been offered for 1800,- which for a partially ground dagger in that overall condition seems like a fair deal.

Maralph,
I would avoid that Eickhorn , even at that price.
- The blade is not very good
- The scabbard is in really terrible condition - refinished or painted to hide rust.
- As you say, the SA button looks strange

I agree, that Eickhorn is not at all what it seems: it's an Eickhorn blade married to a Suhl grip and guards....
