Looks good from your photos.
I think the first owner or later ones varnished the handle and maybe the scabbard.

Yes..I think the varnish is applied later..since the varnish is applied to the erased parts...Do you think the dagger is completely original?

I agree with Dave, the blade got quite grey over time, but the Röhm inscription appears to be an authentic one.
Is there a number (benchmark) on the guards?

Is it possible to discuss the price here... don't know... But the seller wants 2,500euros for the dagger.
The price depends on the wear of the parts..Your opinion is very important.
whether it corresponds to the market price....or overpriced for this condition..

Yes, prices can be discussed on GDC.
In that condition, I would offer €2000.
