When Ric placed his post on his US ring it was very interesting for me.. I have several US rings from WWII I keep private because they were from family... When I did a search on US rings I saw the difference on on the 7th WWII emblem and its later emblem and posted it on Rics topic.
When I checked the source I find this set way too high for sale and made an offer... They accepted!!! I'm shocked.. WWII era mens ring from a die, and a woman's necklace !
Both vey nice quality.. Ring pressed from a die and them the emblem added later in black glass cartouche. Not 'rounded so nice but ok,,,and inner band a nice high polish..Probably the same with the necklace.
Maybe a stick pin and used for both pieces! Anyway,, I love them and with a little negotiating I got them both for a great price!! After checking I find they're worth at least 3 times what I paid so very happy... Had no plans to buy a US piece but this was just done so nice.. Sometimes you get lucky!
