Wittman Antique Militaria # 39821C, Imperial Shooting Cutlass, listed as "F. Kuglmann" and "Warva". I am genealogical researcher who solved the mystery of this Schutzen Hirschfanger. I sent Mr Wittmann an e-mail letter on Oct. 22, 2022, telling Mr. Wittmann the correct spelling is "F. Kuhlmann" and "Warpe". I also found and sent F. Kuhlmann's April 1910 Passport and March 1921 obituary to Mr. Wittmannn. Frederick Henry Christian Kuhlmann was born in Warpe, Germany on March 27, 1852, and died in Omaha County, Nebraska on March 6, 1921. Frederich Kuhlmann went to Germany with his wife, Sophie in 1910 and arrived back in the USA in Oct. 1910 probably returning with his Imperial Shooting Cutlass with blade inscription: "F. Kuhlmann Nebraska, dem Schutzenverein Warpe". This item, # 39821C Imperial Shooting Cutlass is still for sale at Wittmann Antique Militaria and maybe a forum member would like to own this Imperial Schutzen Hirschfanger with an interesting history.

On March 11,2023 I visited the Wittmann site and noticed this # 39821C Imperial Shooting Cutlass is not listed anymore.

Vereinsinformation
Der Schützenverein Warpe wurde 1901 gegründet und war seit 1969 im Kreisschützenverband Bücken verortet. Gemeinsam mit weiteren Schützenvereinen der Gemeinde Warpe kann auf ein ganz besonderes, gemeinsames Werk zurückgeblickt werden. Das Dorfgemeinschaftshaus mit Schießsportanlage, Grillscheune und Außenanlage. In gemeinsamer Arbeit und über 7.000 Arbeitsstunden entstand ein Treffpunkt für sportliche Aktivitäten und zur Wahrnehmung des Vereinslebens. Das Schützenfest am Dorfgemeinschaftshaus stellt jedes Jahr den festlichen Höhepunkt dar.
Sportlich kann der Schützenverein Warpe auf zahlreiche Erfolge auf Kreis-, Bezirks- und Landesmeisterschaften zurückblicken. Besonders stolz kann der Verein auf seine Jugendarbeit sein, die sich Mitte der 80’er Jahre etabliert hat und bis heute große Erfolge mit sich bringt.

The Warpe rifle club was founded in 1901 and has been part of the Bücken district rifle club since 1969. Together with other shooting clubs in the municipality of Warpe, we can look back on a very special joint work. The village community center with shooting range, barbeque barn and outdoor area. In joint work and over 7,000 working hours, a meeting place for sporting activities and for enjoying club life was created. The marksmen's festival at the village community center is the highlight of the festival every year.
In terms of sport, the Warpe shooting club can look back on numerous successes at district, district and state championships. The association can be particularly proud of its youth work, which was established in the mid-1980s and has brought great success to this day.
