Been buying the Italian marble pieces when I've run across them. Making some displays for pole tops. I still have to remove the stand offs from the base with the RAD top. Or add some to them other base with the NSBO topper? I don't know yet. But anyway at least I can display them now. They did just lay around. Bret Van Sant

Hi Bret using the marble as a base is a great idea, especially if you can pickup pieces of marble on the cheap, they look fantastic . Is it hard work drilling through the marble?

Hello The pieces already had the holes drilled. I buy and sell antiques so while I'm doing that I look for old bits of marble. I would think they are old lamp bases. I just finished another here a month or so ago I should post that one also. It works better than having these pole top just lay on a shelf. Bret Van Sant
