Any who have one what color felt is in the slot?? I've seen several photos of the bayonets frogs knots etc.... But never seen anyone showing the felt insert. Or maybe they had none. I have a ratty moth eaten red one. correct or not I don't know. I was thinking green may have been a more correct color. Anyone??

Nice DRP bayonet! To your specific question, I’ve never encountered a DRP bayonet with a felt plug of any color.

Regarding green as an appropriate color for the Postschutz, I’ve never heard that. Green was typically associated with the Polizei and Jäger units. The accent color on the knots was orange and I’ve definitely never seen an orange plug. My guess is the default color of red would have been correct but again, I’ve never seen a Postschutz bayo with one.

Yeah I seen another forum that I'm not a member of someone had a shot of some grey uniform material in a drp marked postal. Not like I've seen several legit postal KS 98s before either. Green is just a guess nothing to stand on there👍. I've never seen an orange felt. Faded red dirty yellow. Ron if I remember has a full rig like you do maybe he has something?Bret
