I just heard that Frank Grant of Limehouse, Ontario has passed away. Frank was a long time collector and dealer just outside of Toronto. He was a fixture at all the local shows as well as the MAX and SOS. Frank was a life member of the OVMS. Frank would be well known amongst the old time dealers. I last saw Frank back in November at a local show. The same show is this Saturday, February 5th. Frank's normal "spot" by the door will be empty. He will be missed. RIP Frank. My condolence to his wife and family. In sympathy, Ryan

Tom Wittmann mentions Frank's passing and pays him a tribute at the beginning of his most recent youtube "Down in the cellar" series. .............regards, Ryan

I see Frank was 85

Most of us old timers knew Frank over the yrs! He seemed a friendly type but
collectors were warned also!

Sorry to hear of his loss for his family!

Hi Paul, yes Frank was a character..........he had a mixture of really good and really bad, no secret here.......he was very approachable and knowledgeable in many areas of collecting. He avidly shared his knowledge with others. Today was a local show and Frank's usual tables were un-occupied for the first time in many many years. He passed away on January 18th, just shy of his 85th bday. His funeral is tomorrow. Regards, Ryan

A bit late in commenting on this "old" news. Wasn't able to attend the 2022 SOS, where I probably would have heard the news. Frank's tables at the SOS backed up to mine for many years. He was a gracious dealer mate both to me and my accompanying sons. I guess he missed renewing his tables a couple years ago and was relocated. My condolences.
