Servus !

I do not know, theres a list of the manufactures of the "Infanteriemesser 42".

But IMO many different manufacturers in the Reich produced this "IM 42", (blank, with, or without makers-marks stamped on the blade, with, or without on the blade stamped codes instead the Logo).

Known manufacturers of the "Infanteriemesser 42":

Gebrder Grfrath, W.K.C., Tiger, Herder, Alcoso, Eickhorn, Gebrder Weyersberg, F.W. Hller, ....

Another maker of fighting-knives, (better: "utility"-knives), was PUMA.

Remarkable was the red-brown bakelite grip.
Puma also produced "tool-knives" during the war.

This maker stamped its blades in several, different ways.

One example:

Hi!

Does your PUMA, (the one on the left), show the Aluminium-crossguard ?

Please, let me also see the blade !

Thx.,

@ seany again:

The reason why Im asking is, that Im looking for pics of another PUMA with this particular mark on the blade:

PUMA SOLINGEN, (combined with the Aluminium crossguard and the Bowie-style blade).

You know, that PUMA marked theyre blades with different makers marks, and PUMA also manufactured theyre knives with different kind of blades, also, crossguards!
