Trying to Identify this knife, but having no luck. Appears to be German base on the design. No markings anywhere to be seen. Anyone got an idea?

Welcome, Jmart. I'll bet your younger brother is called Kmart ? Are there any marks at all on the knife or leather ? The cross guard looks vaguely Russian ... Dave

The only markings are the screws holding the grips on. they are marked "91M". I am starting to think this was some kind private made piece.

I think you are right.
The 91M probably refers to 9.1 mm diameter of the screws.
It has hints of forestry / shooting and military/police.
Is it sharp ?
