Good afternoon,
I was hoping someone here could help me identify a dagger. Looks more like a throwing knife, as it is double edged, one piece with steel handle. I found it at the junk yard one day. I have spent hours attempting to find something similar and could not. Overall length is 7 1/2". The handle is stamped "SOLINGEN". The blade is stamped "KUNO RITTER GERMANY". I think I did and attempted to attach 3 pics of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

JH..,,, That is a cool piece! Yes that is throwing knife shape,,,also a clandestine bare bones killer! Something the OSS,KGB,MI5 would have a few up their sleeves...
Its stamped 'Germany',, SO,,it is for export, either pre WWII, or after 1989... I think it is the latter, post 1989... Hopefully the dagger guys will be able to help you out...,G.

Welcome to GDC, Mr Hayes,
Kuno Ritter is know to collectors here as a maker of SA daggers. Here is what their logo looks like on an SA blade made in the 1934-36 period. I agree with Gaspare. Throwing knife, probably 1990's.
