I'm happy with the amount of rings in my collection.. There is 1 or maybe 2 rings I'd like to get....BUT,, in the meantime:

I collect it all,,Advertisements, in wear photos, manufacture tools, boxs, dies, etc.

Saw this period catalog recently and bought it on really just seeing the cover only .. It's in great condition... Well I'm not disappointed!. There are some pieces some of us might be interested in... - - Give me a bit of time and get my scanner going and I'll post some of the inner pages / tools etc.

You guys have anything similar please go ahead and post. Even is US or other countries as long as its period...

Its got a ton of stuff in it!. Some interesting , some not..

But this is a cool thing. Perfect for the smaller shop who maybe buys working dies , or makes custom pieces ..

This appears to be a portable / clamp to any work table,,,,,hand powered grinding wheel which could also be changed in to a sharpener, or what looks like wire brush head attachment and even a polisher wheel for a quickie polish... Even cooler is it has a 'power take off',,,a cable that acts as a Dremel or mini drill , all powered by hand and for skilled hands to use..

* Anything interesting to be translated???

It is an early multitool, made for small jobs for hobbyists and professionals.

Grinding wheel, by hand, with SKF-ball bearing and produced of a strongly heated material ( may be Carburundum) .
With a flexibel hose, feit wheel, wobble disc, wire brush and circular blade.
I do'nt see mentionned a drill option in the text.

At the end it says underlined :
“Absolutely free shipping and packing, we deliver, if the amount of your order is RM 25,- and more”..

, Benten,,thank you very much!

Well, see the flex tool in the hand above.. At the end of it has a normal drill 'chuck'. . A drill bit or a small round file can be inserted and tightened.

* What a great all around tool/machine to do a quick , fast action.. . Grind, wire brush, drill a small hole, even a quick polish.. Looks like it has some sort of gear reduction or gear box. So a few cranks of the handle and it probably turns a while, or as slow.. . ; and at 32 reichmarks for the basic machine it seems to be a great deal!

I'll make some more scans....

- Here is a page with what seems to be all sorts of files, a couple hand held vises etc. Any good tool and die maker, jeweler had drawers of this stuff and more.. Sorry about small size. IF anyone wants a close up [made bigger] of anything on this page please just ask and I'll make it..

- IF anyone see's anything exciting to translate please do.. Benten, thanks again...,G.

Cool,

You'd have to have kid to crank the multipurpose flex tool. Couldn't crank and drill it yourself.

Gaspare, nice all these tools from the Westfalia Compagny.

Precision cylindric metal cutters , files: -needle-key and -block files,
Metal hand clamp, bench worker hammer, saw for metals.

I like the very well designed cartoon man right below, with his dustcoat and megaphone;
It/he says: ATTENTION “ Please don’t forget the added order forms and cards”.

Dave,, if there is a gear reduction/gear box a few cranks and it will go a while. IF your working on silver/gold [soft ] etc. and in jewelry the piece is pretty thin,,it'll take less than a min....

- Here is another nice item.. Looks like a wall mounted hand drill. So hand cranked [?] and also has what looks like a hand turned wheel at the top for fine work!,,OR that moves the spindle up and down[?] This the head , table etc. are all adjustable..
I also see a D.R.G.M. So it should have a new type gadget or feature on it...,,and again, I feel at 39.50 RM thats a good price for it...

.* Benten,,your translations are very helpful. I thank you greatly as I'm sure the rest of the guys do..

Hi Gaspare,
The first one is gloss paint for machinery. Can also be used on garden furniture. Available in blue, red, green, grey and black.
The second is jet-black high-gloss, fast-drying paint for use on iron.
Cheers,
Stephen

As an addition I post this used little pocket book, ( with a bit dirt , oil and grease smile ) ;
1940, Calendar of the German Metal workers. Below the DAF sign .

-The calendar 1940, divided in 12 month, mentions each month some NSDAP facts like in November 1923 the Putch , March to the Feldherrnhalle.

-Then there is an really very elabourated part of all kind of techniques facts and dates.

-At the end in the booklet are some metal tool and other- related commercials .

Thats a great little book Benten!!

Is the bike a true 'moped',,,meaning,,can it be peddled like a bicycle , and, ran like a motorcycle?

Please, you see anything you think might be interesting please post.... Even something like that lamp advertisement [lower left]. . Must be something special as it looks like it has a DRP/DRGM listed!

G. I understand what you mean, but I don’t see it in the ad.
The ad…..2 Materpieces of the Techinque;
Motorcycle with 98ccm Sachsmotor and the excellent Phänenomen anti-vibration fork, really a class of its own.

Schwingrad , a flywheel cycle , as I’m correct, but I’m not sure !

A fenomenal new reconstruction. You drive like in cushion class.

Order, free delivery, of the brochure Phänomenen factory Gustaf Hiller AG ( Aktien Gesellschaft, Stock Corporation, Zittau.

Yeah thats a nice hi end bike! Sachs made motors for many many years,,very good quality...

The whole bike is excellent quality. From the first B&W ad I'm pretty sure you can peddle it and then convert and ride like a regular motorcycle,,,one of the first Mopeds!

Very hi end and made that anyone can ride it , man, woman, teenager!

Thanks for posting and translation!,,,,what about the 'Midgard' Lamp, [lower left in ad],,see a reason for a DRP/DRGM?? That is something you would see at a jewelers work station.
