I'm quite the fan of The Land of The Rising Sun. (anyone else here like Zatoichi!?) Did the Japanese have any prominent rings or jewelry for their military during WWII and before? What about WWII postcards?

Over the years I’ve seen some silver rings with patriotic kanji. They were not awarded by military. None in my collection. There are tremendous amounts of military themed postcards.

Shame, military rings are the highlight I'd say. I'm definitely an amateur, but with the Third Reich postcards I know what's what, such as pictures of Hitler and other famous Nazis. Not so much with the Japanese, so I'll have to look into it.

Every country had patriotic post cards. I’ve seen hundreds of Japanese postcards. I have a half a dozen but not worth the effort or trouble to post. Of all the numerous military websites this one has the absolute worst photo posting system

Sorry, too much red for me. But that last one with the guy staring at you is nice, looks almost modern. Every country had patriotic post cards. I’ve seen hundreds of Japanese postcards. The key thing I find about postcards (or any artistic imagery really) is how 'good' it is. Plenty of terrible or average patriotic postcards out there, I think we're interested mainly in the good ones (especially of infamous people...)

Jareth,, has a bunch of Japanese PCs.. I've never really seen one before.. I like them!
Nice looking cards.. Sure there was a ton of scenery PCs, mountains, trees etc. But these military theme cards are nice.. Any of actual photos of military leaders,,or equipment,,Zeros, tanks etc.?

Those...are cool. I especially like the first one (with the ship and planes)! Military leader PCs are probably the best PCs as they are a huge topic for conversation.

Now tell me those are not the Japs shooting survivors of a sunken ship, not those nice Japs. Thought only those Nazi's were the bad guys.

Ed,
If you look at the left margin of the image, I think that round black ball is a floating sea mine which is/are the targets.
Note the ramrod on the rifle
