Been out a few weeks now... Anyone been there? stationed or just a quick passing thru??

I spent 6 months at Fort Polk La for basic and AIT.
18months in Korea at Camp Humphreys.
And my last year at Camp Pickett, Va.
There had to be contaminated water at those bases. You could not drink the water even if you made coffee, tea, or cool aid.

Ed,, so no drinking ,, but eventually you guys had to get cleaned up [shower/bath] ,,,,and that water got in you one way or another..
The lawyers smell blood and out for clients. They are in the right this time as many got sick or already suffered and passed away..

The dates are from 1957 to 1983.. Affects the men and their families including many wrongful miscarriage's and other problems.. It's going to affect a million plus people!!

Gaspare, yeah, definitely having some weird stuff going on the past few years, heh... don't know if it's because of drinking the crappy water down there or just from getting old? Thanks for bringing this up, I might just look into it...

A correction: they have changed the end year to 1988... Also a camp called New River...... The list of problems/diseases are a couple pages long.!
- Why pay co-pays,,meds, or anything .... There are now even cable 1/2 hr info programs about the problem or I'm sure its on the internet...
ANYONE there during those years and sick in any way should do a search etc. Good luck and I'm sure all our prayers are with those that were there....,G.

I know a lawyer in NYC thats getting involved with this.. Other lawyers are actually buying TV commercial time to advertise.. A couple others have actually produced their own 'infomercial' on this...
There have been 1000s that have come forward lately . It is also open to civilians that worked there.. Many,,,shit,,,most that have spent a lot of time there have come down with some sort of terrible disease. ..
-- IF any members here did spend time there and sick now's the time to get some sort of compensation,,,if not for you, then do it at least for your family.. Everyone's praying and pulling for you....., G.
