Hi all.

A friend has a hunting sword from his Dad that he wants to sell. I've wanted one for a long time but don't know squat about them and was hoping that you folks might help.

I'd like to get some idea as to date and value and any other tid bits that might occur to you.

Thanks.

Post war, this maker mark is etched onto the blade, only buy hunting, forestry or shooting association daggers with a stamped mark if you want an example that is pre 1945.

Got it, thanks. What is something like this worth? I want an "example" not a classic if you follow me.

You need to post photos of the entire dagger with scabbard if you want someone to give you a realistic valuation.

Here are some more pictures. Condition is excellent.

Thoughts on value are appreciated.
Thanks.

I've never collected post war pieces so it's difficult to say, I should think its worth $200.

I am looking for an example of the "type" not necessarily a high end collectable. This might do it.
