Hello,
Looking for high resolution photos of Edged Weapons allowed to be worn by General Officers and Admirals of the Wehrmacht? I’ve written a three volume work titled “Generals & Admirals of the Third Reich”, which will be published by Casemate this year. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and a free copy to those who can help? Please pm for more details?
Best Regards, Jack

Jack there are no special daggers allowed to High command offiicers in the army (Heer) other then the standard army daggers and swords. Looking at their swords there can be differences in Handwork and materials. Only exception to the rule is that Army Generals rank and up it was aloud to use gilded / golden hangers instead of the standard silvered ones. They can have special etchings to the blade but material wise there are no difference like there was in use at the Kriegsmarine, with diamond inlayes at the pommel and special grips etc.
