hello,
Just like to introduce myself as a new member of the forum... I am from Belgium and have been (and still) interested in US Paratrooper... Since a few years, probbaly due to the influence of a friend collector :-), I am more and more interested in German stuff, especially linked with The Bulge... I like detailed description of the object what makes sometime possible the difference between original or fake... i like also those kind of forum where you learn a lot. I like also a kind of intellectual or "scientific" approach of the collection...
Thanks for accepting me here...
Serge

Hello and welcome!
US paratrooper items and Battle of the Bulge!
You picked a high want items for collectors and I might add expensive!
Complete grouping was sold on ebay a few months ago! Collectors were talking about it on the internet!
Helmet was included! I believe price was $20.000
Many vets were here in the US and stuff pops up once in a while!
Couple years ago I got 2 named Purple Hearts out of pawn shop!
1 was named too a guy from Easy Company from Cleveland Ohio,
Went to Find a grave and entered a name and up it came with a picture of grave!
A well known Purple Heart guy found it on internet in 10 min!
I sold it for 500.00 since with out his info it meant nothing! I pd 50.00
Another Purple Heart came in pawn shop with wth a couple pics and info and daughter sold it for 25.00
Named!
In my area of forum! Collectors Corner! I have just started showing US stuff 3 parts so far!
And the One Purple Heart is shown! Named! Take a look
I have a gut that was 82nd Airborne Vietnam! His father inlaw was ww2 paratooper!
His stuff is on a maniken!
Stuff is still in homes but hard to get!
Tell us about why you like the stuff and maybe what you collect!
