Hello, it is my very post in this forum, so first of all I would like to thx for accepting me and to say hello to everyone here. I would like to ask about such dagger, I have only those four photos, It has , what appears to be a correct variant of Carl Eickhorn logo and correct looking Motto, but I am not sure of Eickhorn used this variant on his blades. I have no info if it was dedication dagger with removed script or not, but Eickhorn Logo is positioned bit higher as for such type I think? A grip with an aluminium looking like eagle which looks like Robert Klaas early version . So my question is- is this a dagger built up of original parts or a copy? There is no scabbard with it. Greetings and have a happy Easter time.

Hello and Welcome, Finn Volunteer,
unfortunately that dagger is mixed reproduction and real pats
- The blade is fake. The trademark is not correct and too far from the crossguard.
- The grip is a modern reproduction .. and the aluminum eagle is incorrect for an early Eickhorn
- The crossguards are real. The lower one is from an SA dagger. It looks like (P) almost erased
Sorry for the bad news

Hello Dave ! Thank you for the greetings and your input on that dagger. I was having doubts on it, but also a little hope, that at least blade is ok, I thought it could be an Eickhorm filled "Röhm" blade, put in some "Frankenstein" -alike dagger made out of pieces, but as I see it was wishful thinking... Cheers! Finn
