So,, Besides me going to 20 or so digs in the mid, late 90s in Ukraine and in Poland and not believing in impossibilities even if up from the ground,, we have this..

Here is a U Tube of a guy digging and finding a SS ring. A "Viking SS ring"

Well,,I can tell you with 100% certainly this is not true. All BS. . There are gullible collectors that trust everything a digger has to say and show. They might start out good,, but eventually they go to the dark side.. And will swear on their own childrens graves [recently happened on WAF] their BS wares are good!

Most diggers DO known when to quit digging. The ground only has so much in it. The ones that continue , they will start to add things to the victory garden. OR worse,,they will get items from a friend digger who is not honest. These honest diggers believe their old buddies,,but the love of the money drives them to blind belief or outright dishonesty..
So there you go,,it is possible to have a honest digger with fake, fantasy pieces..........

* So, click on this site:

* Go a little past middle,,it is at 6:15 sec. Meaning,,at the bottom you can move the point along the red line to the right and when you get to 6:20 have a look.

At first I thought it funny.. But it is not.. Collectors use these idiots for a provenance. This is total BS.. NEVER believe an item just because it is ground dug...
Guys like this have almost ruined the hobby to a point of no return and deserve the worst things that could happen to them mad..

Hello gents, I don t understand what you have. This ground dug WikingSS ring clearly shows the shiny surface of a 70+ years in earth item!
Caution! Subtle iroy!

there are plenty of beginning and experienced collectors that will buy a similar ring. Show it and we all say how bad it is then 'someone' introduces him to the video and we're the dummies grin
You must always stand that ground dug is not a provanance.

- and it has ruined certain areas of the hobby. I.D. tags [dogtags] used to be very big in interest and in value etc.. But due to all the counterfeits , BS, out there most claiming to be dug have debased the whole area of tag collecting.. Keep at it guys,,be careful

Guys,, As Ludacris as the first post showing the Utube piece with the fantasy Viking ring claimed to be dug 'right in front of your own eyes!!'

Well here are 2 more ground dug rings laugh.. A classic originally thought up and made by a ex US service man in Latvia right after the breakup of the USSR.. - and,, The 2nd dug wonder ring,,,maybe SS?!?. Hey,,maybe SS motorcycle battalion. crazy

These are shown on a foreign East European private site which sometimes shows some nice authentic patterns... - You get a guy claiming he dug it,, maybe another swearing to it,, and some 'Wows' and 'Oooos' , ,, POSs like these 2 could/might fool a beginner or someone blinded by the dug claim with too much money.

Thankfully we have ring heros [such as Evgeniy] who actually calls it as he see's them,,junk!.. These 2 got the , trash , 'biker crap' , fake,, 4th reich,,"you dug this yourself? laugh , comments they deserve..
* Again, these 2 = pure fantasy..................
