Hello,

I picked this up at a local show today, can anyone tell me if this is a genuine example or a postwar copy please. Are these reproduced to this quality ?

There is a 1937 date and makers mark to the rear, see photos.

Many thanks

Luke

Please show the reverse side of the clip, as Seibod is the most copied maker, and in fact to find an original one is very hard these days.
I would even say 1 of 5 Seibods RAD Hangers is an original.
With these mugshots none can say its an original, i do not like the sewing pattern i most admitt, its wobbling and not straight as i know of the originals.

Thank you all for your replies & taking the time to respond.

I will take a photo of the rear of the clip when I get a moment.

Best regards

Luke

Hello, the stitching does not look to me like skilled saddler work. An unskilled repair does not come into consideration as there are no other stitches. Just my 2 ct.
