here is my rings 36, 38 and 44 years Borger, Voll and Volkmann 36 year ring, was excavated in Belarus,Polotsk бкштпы was without owner, may be lost Moreover, by chance, in a place with a ring, a badge of the Soviet Union on the census of the population dated 1939 was found, and these items are simply not related to each other.

Beautiful rings Evgeniy! Really love the '36 and '38 ones!
Did some digging on the owner of your Börger ring.. The owner of your ring is Untermsturmfuhrer Wilhelm Börger (SS Nr. 3450 / NSDAP Nr. 340,627). Not to be confused with Brigadefuhrer Wilhelm Börger.
Wilhelm Börger born February 28, 1907 and promoted Ustuf on 9.11.1935. Was member of 13th SS Standarte in 1936 and was on reserve staff of 13th SS Standarte in 1937. He was probably put into W-SS towards end of war and found his way to Belarus where he ditched his ring as the Russians were coming.
Best regards, Sarcasmos

Maybe, Heinrich Petersen (31 March 1904 – 9 May 1945) was a Standartenführer (Colonel) in the Waffen-SS. Place of birth Sonderburg, German Empire (modern Denmark) Place of death between Tábor & Pilsen, Bohemia

Place of birth Sonderburg, German Empire (modern Denmark) Place of death between Tábor & Pilsen, Bohemia Hi Mikee, the ring is not Heinrich Petersen's, he had his ring since at least 1936. Petersen is a common name, and there were many SS officers with that name unfortunately. One possible owner of your ring is Dr. Peter Petersen, SS Untersturmfuhrer // SS Nr. 117843 // DOB: 6.4.1900 He is the only officer in 1938 DAL named Petersen who does not have the Totenkopfring, though it is unknown if he received it later. However, I believe it will be near impossible to find your original owner without more information. How did you discover the ring? Where does it come from?

Sarcasmos,
Thank you very much for checking it for me. I was hoping it was his lol but new it probably wasn't. I picked it from a friend and next time I see him I will ask more questions.

Hi Mikee
There are two more names that did not receive the ring in DAL 1938
Otto Petersen . SS Nr. 115 809. ( DAL 38 SS-Untersturmfuhrer / DAL 44 SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer - Kdr.1/49.Rgt. 4.SS-Frw. Pz.Gr.Brig. Nederland )
Dr. Heinrich Petersen SS Nr. 104 798 ( DAL 38 SS-Untersturmfuhrer / DAL 44 SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer der Reserve - SS-Fuhrer des Sanitatsdienstes )

Hi Stud,
Thank you for checking it much appreciated.
Would it help at all to look at the 42 and 43 Dienstaltersliste? Thank you to all I dont believe so, that DAL only shows ranks Sturmbannfuhrer - Obersturmbannfuhrer (at least the ones I have access to). They do not cover any of the lower ranks (ustuf. ostuf. hstuf.), which is likely where your guy would belong, and you would also not be able to narrow down who had your ring as you cannot cross check who had the ring when without the lower rank lists.
