Hello Collectors
We just finished part 1 SHOW me some Bullion US and other things!
Lots of Army Air Corp,patches,A2jackets,medals etc!
We are just about to start part 2 on COLLECTORS CORNER!
Feel free to add !

Lots to show and talk about!
Headgear,swords,uniforms from WW!,WW2,Korea,Vietnam What ever you like!
Letters,flags,autographs,lighters,knives, newspapers,cival war, holsters,guns,IRAQ stuff!
NAVY,Marine, I think you can find plenty of stuff!
Maybe how you store your stuff,preserve,clean, tips you have used while collecting!
Shows,people.friends you wish to talk about!
Tell us when you started collecting? What you do now in the hobby!
Want to make it fun and interesting for you the collector to come to German Daggers and COLLECTORS CORNER and just stop in and see what we might be showing or talking about!
The hobby offers other forums,the internet,sites you go to on a regular basis!
Thats ok! maybe make a habit of stopping in here!

As we know SOS just finished and have a video of the show from Mark and Jerry!
I think it gives a good feel for the show!
The amount of stuff and people is amazing!
I always enjoyed seeing folks and all the goods!

I took pics so long long ago more than15 yrs!
Local collector who might be 80 now allowed me to take pics of
his collection he had put together!
German and US
I must have took over 200 pics!
He had amassed one huge amount of stuff when you could find this stuff!
Henry was really not known in military circles but was seen ay local shows walking and always talking to me!
Well let me tell you! He had the stuff! And we also went to his buddies house! Took 200 pics!
I am sharing a look into time of his stuff!

Before I continue on Henry and stuff!
I wanted to post this group I got and posted in 2010 on WAF Korea!
I still get emails wanting to buy! Just got another!
Its long gone!
Captured North Korean flag by local ohio 1st Cav the items included a Joe Louis autograph while this kid was in hospital!
Joe had just been knocked out by Rocky Marciano but was in Korea!
Every one wants the flag but Joe Louis was a american hero and beat Max !
Something of a nice group you don't see!

Collecting is a funny thing!
Many of us know big names and have gone to big shows,small shows,flea markets when stuff really showed up,antique shops,show,
pawn shops now!
But folks you have seen for yrs and yrs and talked to have been under the radar! Not much thought given!
Because I never sold them much or seen them spend I sorta went about my business!
Always talked at the small shows and 1 day he came to see my stuff and then I went his way!
I took a camera with a card for 200 pics! Who knew!
Henry had a house jammed wth ww1 german,ww2 german,US all periods'large ww2 german headgear blah blah blah!
I took as many pics in 1 evening and saw so much! Wholy molley!!!!!
I will need to do one just on Henry!
He was very talented in being able to sew on brim that had a few stitches loose! That happens folks!
I was in full panic mode! $5.000 visor and I could see trouble coming down the line!
Henry took it and bam it was perfect! Wouldn't take a dime,not even dinner!
I started asking myself what the heck I was doing hold 3 SS visors worth the price of a car!
Moths,threads going bing! I sold those 3 SS visors! What in the world was I thinking!
I was not Bill Gates! Or a museum! Just a steelworker!
Just a story I thought I would tell! God bless you Henry!
Back when stuff was everywhere!
