Hi guys

I'm in Canada and I've noticed recently that some of the Canadian Dealers websites no longer carry Third Reich items for sale. For example eMedals used to carry a fair amount of TR Militaria. I visited their website and it reads:

"In response to domestic concern and growing social opinion, eMedals has made the conscious and responsible decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical items from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the concern put forth by Canadian domestic social voices and have taken proactive actions to address this sentiment. For additional details, please contact customer service."

Similarly and more recently, I visited Paul Hogle's Website (Lakesidetrader) and all TR items have also been removed

Anyone know anything about this? It could really impact collecting up here in Canada

Cheers
John

Hi John no worries you have to create an account for both Emedals and for Lakesidetrader then once created you have to log in each visit in order to view the Third Reich selection. They still carry the same ammount of items as usual. Both sites are practicing discretion. cheers and best, R

One more step towards the end.
Give the cry babies everything they want, the new normal.
What a shame.

We here in Canada have never had the sleeve worn patriotism and love for a "constitution" as do our American brethren. I have always held this is high regard as a veteran. Having said this I believe we ALL should be respectful of both world and domestic events, specifically those involving blatant anti=semetism, racism and intolerance. The decision by some militaria dealers here in Canada reflects that consideration and approach in my opinion. We, as a collecting "community" have always stressed that our "passion" for collecting does NOT translate to any held beliefs. This is certainly posted on many major US and UK dealers websites, prior to entering. Unfortunately not everyone views collecting as a preservation and protection of history. We have all encountered those who collect for other "reasons" I for one have zero use for those "elements" cheers and best, Ryan
