One of the "old guard" who was far more than an "expert" on SS cloth insignia. Has help me on several occasions in the past and will be missed in our hobby. RIP

Condolences to Dave's family and friends.
I just learned about his passing yesterday. We spoke just a few months ago and now he is gone. I met Dave around 1969 and he was a very engaging person. Our friendship lasted all these years. Time keeps on ticki'n. RIP
