Hello to all,
Here is a brass WKC N°1016 LandZöll sabre.... Silver pommel but red eyes ... I suppose the officer couldn't afford the full combo silver + green eyes !!! Hope you like it ! K.

Hello Kurt_Menliff, you do have here two very nice conditioned sabers. But I don´t know how often I have written already here in the forum that custom sabers always have golden hilts! Prooved by a lot of written period material! The silver saber for me is without any doubt an early (due to material) SSlionshead saber with the wrong knot. These SSsabers had either the early black/silver (like army but black band) knot or the later only-silver-with-runes-in-the-stem SS knot. Prooved by a lot of period wearing photographs. Regards,
