UBB.threads Forums General Interest Community Center Posting photos on GDF

Hello to all,

Is it me or posting pictures on GD has been a complete pain in the basement ??? ... which makes me skip this site most of the time ... i come to read but don't post due to it and that is highly frustrating ... I suppose very lightweight photos prevent the forum from crashing downat some point due to the number of files posted ... but that is really the only site i know with such constraints ...
What do you use to make it happen ? any website, app that can allow you to cut down pics to size and weight required without too many hassle ?

The software we are using will not work with one of those built-in apps that cuts any image to size. So it has to be done before you post.

There are instructions on resizing in the computer forum and in the beginners forum

The size limit is a pain and it was smaller!

Yes it can be done and they will tell you how easy!

But! WAf forum pics are double our size and many collectors just don't want the hasle!

Its time consuming and a pain! We are missing out on many folks and posts!


I have to play around many times and will help when collectors need it!


Stubborn is the term! I can't tell you how many folks tell me its to darn hard!

Many collectors don't want to have to send the pics to Vern and he will post them!


Email or send a letter with a stamp is how it feels at times!
