Collectors

I will begin to show moderator Ryan Sellicks out of this world cap gun collection!

Holsters, guns, box's western stuff, all types of top shelve things from the past!

He had put together a nice haul!

I did dabble in the toy guns, clothes Wyatt Earp,Bat Masterson, and Roy,Hoppy Rex,Lone Ranger and the list goes on!

Lunch boxs and from tv series I watched as a kid! The rifleman, Daniel Boone.,Wanted,

I can remember playing cowboys and Indians.

Lone Ranger, etc What fabulous times to be a kid! 1950.1960 etc!

You know some priced items are expensive in the box! I think I still have cap gun rolls to put in a gun! The sound of a cap going off!

I once visted a large collector in Pa,Flip Side Mall! And he had the stuff plus the reall Buffalo Bill and Annie Okley items!

I had some real Buffalo Bill posters and a rare Annie Oakley one also! He purchased them from me!

Got to hold Buffalo Bills items!

We played ball, played cowboys and indians, dressed up for war with ww2 stuff then went to the pool!

What a life for kids in that time!

As I show Ryan stuff feel mfree to share your memories!

Its tough on DEATH VALLEY Military forum sometimes! BUT we try!

Not many have responded to collectors corner! Ryan and I have shown many nice things!

I felt bad for him!

Well I told Ryan at least we have a place to park our pictures!

We can always take them where folks would like to see stuff!

But I give you a start tonight of cap guns!

Best to all and thanks for sharing Ryan!

Thanks for showing them and bringing back old memories. Makes me wonder what happened to the ones I had way back.
Only things still around are some of the MARX miniature toy cap guns.

Very nice. I remember the Mattel Shootin-shell I got for Christmas back in 1959. Still have the Shootin-shell derringer but the pistol and holster is gone to time.

Those Shootin-shell's are awsome.
I have several derringers and have about five pistols, some with holsters, one in the original box.
Those were the days, yes indeed. You could play cowboys, and really shoot your friend. Not today.

Ryan
Very nice collection.

In the early 1950's I had several Western style cap guns including a Hopalong Cassidy matched pair. Alas, no pictures.

My all-time favorite was the Mattel Burp Gun.

Cool cap guns, even a broom-stick Mauser pistol. I had a few cowboy and Army cap guns; I was 5 years old in the fall of 1961. Thanks for showing.

Ryan,,, I hope you still have all these!!!!

- What a wonderful collection. All nice condition fireable examples. All good high quality pieces!! What a treat to see..

- guilty little pleasure of mine was to take a whole box of caps and hit them with a sledge hammer!,,, BANG for sure! I had a couple double barrel cap guns. Think I have them somewhere!

- Dave,, you still have that boxed 'Burp Gun' cap gun?!??

Gaspare,

Although a treasured possession in the late 1950's, it disappeared in 1960 when we moved frown

Remembering cap guns, about 90% were modeled on single action Colt guns. There were a few modeled on single shot black powder pistols or derringers that used single caps, but I do not remember any rifle style long arm cap guns. Anybody ?

Some time during the 60's I had a civil war style cap musket. Single shot, propelled cork minie balls. Wooden stock, metal barrel, and ramrod.

Long gone. frown I think it was called a Kadet toy musket.
