You have always shared very nice stuff!

I have always liked very nice condition items! When they can be found!

Some pieces just jump out because of it!

Others have the look with patina or number on it that also just grabs you!

But with SS daggers they are becoming less found from the source every yr!

You almost have to go a collection thats been stashed for 50 yrs!

Right Dave?

I haven't got 1 with the number and history in a few yrs! Right from the pawn shop!

That also is proving very hard to pry out!

You sure can't buy them with moths in the wallet!

Thats why I love looking at JR's site and photographs of them!

I was thinking about this!

How often do you run into vertical hangers with SS daggers!

I have only had maybe 4

Dave

You have a foot locker full!

How many have you run into?

Question is why? Why were they in use or not more often!

I bet some of you have opinions to share!

Plus feel free to show SS daggers!

Another question

What was the makers you have?

Some makers found more than others!

Boker is a dagger so many have shown! Haven't had 1 Thats strange!

I’ve seen 3 or 4 Bokers for sale locally in the last year. None were in good condition so sadly I stayed away. Sometimes too the seller knows the mystique of Boker and that influences the price.

Paul,

No one's had much in the way of good SS daggers in the last few years. They've dried up.

Hi, I just joined you and am very happy to be here, I used to follow your forum but really want to communicate. My father had a dagger from 1899, he later sold it at auction, he collected more antique daggers, but the first one was the most rare!! smile
