This is a very interesting looking brooch. It came in a group of all female youth BDM pieces.

Can a member help identify this piece?,,,have it in a reference book?

I have not seen it before.
Fits though. I assume tree of life or tree of knowledge?
Life rune.
I know you can tell more about the swirl emblem that looks like the wire West Wall rings.

Someone shared some images of period brooch's once. Was it on the ring forum or the medals and badges forum?

Joe,, thanks for taking a look. So glad those topics are still there.. Well at least there isn't a load of 'copies' out there..

Weird that the 'ground' really isn't.. It is like the tree is rooted in Blocks [?]... This could stay a mystery,,but I'd be happy with !..

I see the Lebensrune at the right site; stands for life. The tree with explicite the roots and soil or rock and tree leaves ; could stand for "growing" ...
Maybe this brooch concerns Health Care. Kind of nurse brooch. The quality of producing is good and firm.
