Hope everyone had a safe 4th... Coming out of church today there was some kids buying fireworks down the block in the parking lot.. They were talking some disturbing things.. Seems 3 out of the 4 thought today has something to do with Pres. Lincoln and our Civil war - They also knew very little about the Holocaust.. What a shame - -What the hell they teaching ,,or letting the kids believe these days Well anyway,,, We have just begun to fight!! They will learn one way or another as society will/can only take so much!.. Again,,hope you all had some good BBQ , etc. and cold ones... Me,, sausage and peppers with some Champaign!! [I know I'm weird!]!

Gas Yes sir !! The youth of today are totally screwed up. They have No values, ethics, or idea what life is all about. This all started years ago with the infamous " TIME OUT " instead of a good ass whooping. Does not seem that it's going to change any, when a kid gets arrested for something, MOM always says He's a GOOD BOY. Todays lingo for a thug. And with uncle Jo sending them all the money they need to live on, only will keep going down hill. It is not only New York, it is every where in America today. SICK. SORRY Dave, about the Jo thing. Ed,, your so right... ,,and I have a thing saying 'kids' anyone younger than me.. They were probably early 20s! which makes it even sadder....
After WW2 one of the big sayings was 'Never Forget' relating to the Holocaust.. So my son [in his 40s] and he remember being taught some on WW2 in school including the saying.. . He said most of his learning on it was from my WW2 related books... My daughters [in their 30s] said very little time was spent on WW2. Never heard the saying in school and again even less time spent on the Holocaust...
I think our hobby in a few generations will be gone. The most perfect of copies, people not really learning much about the war.. I have no doubt that in 30 years [maybe less] nazi regalia will be a goof... With so many current 'social' issues' no one will care anything about WW2 especially its regalia.....
