Collectors
I had known a collector for over 35 yrs or more!
He was a friendly fella and always stopped by my table to talk!
Now this was when flea markets were fun to hunt and find things!
Ray died a few yrs back and daughter let about 10 people or friends go to private auction she held!
Ray had lots of stuff from picking at the flea market!
I did real good and bought alot of stuff and friends did also!
We sorta shared the goodies!
Here is some things!

I miss the days of digging around and finding a gem!
Some health problems have kept me from doing the walk at shows and flea markets!
But flea markets are not like they were! Bootleg cd and ball caps!
Have not made a show in 2 yrs! Hope fall is better!
Anybody been to a show?

right up until two weeks ago we had a local Toronto antique market every Sunday right downtown since 1989 COVID really knocked it around, closed down for 6 months then re opened with limited dealers for social distancing etc.......the person who has run it for 30 years finally called it quits as the city owned the venue and gave her no break on rent she had to pay $10,000 a month even though it was closed for 6 consecutive months and generating NO income for her..... but it was in her contract last show two weeks ago just before that I picked up a great P08 holster with pilot/veterans name stamped in it with full name and service number and also a Boer war marked boot brush friend acquired bronze and silver mothers' crosses......... it was always a good show for the odd piece of militaria lots of competition and militaria pickers though..........NOW all gone thanks COVID and city greed cheers, Ryan

Some really nice pieces shown here!! Yeah finding them is harder than ever..
For smalls/jewelry its super hard. There could be a great piece in the corner of a case, half covered by something else etc... - And you always find something at a table where the dealer isn't there -- 'He's taking a walk', he's eating', can't get him on the cell!'.. Do you leave,,,or wait.. I wait a few min then take off.. IF its meant to be its meant to be......................
