Hello pvon, it is a nice army nco and a nice officer´s dagger you do show us. It has been always a dream of mine to present an army dagger as pictured in the EICKHORN Kundendienst perhaps an officer´s visor added . Lateron I wished the same to do with an RMBO dagger. Finally I am no cloth guy so it remained a dream.
But the NCO shown in your pic was never entitled to wear the officers dagger (contrary to navy and luft where NCOs could wear their daggers). So a very nice photographic assemblance but historically not correct. No criticizing (who could criticize such a good pic), just putting it correct.
