Collectors
Here is pic of the most beautiful Red Glass army dagger! It was a Tiger!
I have thought about this one for yrs!!!!!!
It was owned by JR noted dagger collector and dealer!
I know its always about personal tastes and other factors!
But this dagger screams out to you!
If this doesn't draw a crowd when shown anyplace, well lets just say, really!
JR owned this beauty many yrs ago and sold it! Bob R still has this one!
Many have said the grips and such of daggers like this have aged, exposed to light, ultra violet rays, that some changes are very dramatic!
We talk of trolon, bakelite, resins, and chemical properties of material!
Well I for one would check and see if it had babies everyday due to all the above features talked about!
It gets way too deep for me!
I just say JR has had some killer items in his time!

I'm not a dagger guy so come on a lesson here.. Is that an actual glass grip? Could you upgrade your daggers like that?

Gaspare
I think Ryan might be pulling your leg a little!
Artifical Amber grips!
Frozen Juice,Glass grips! Collector names given! But understood when said!
The collectors have gotten deep on color change!
They cite chemical change,everything,sun,ultra violet.etc!
But not real glass! They do chip easy!
But this red one sure looks like glass! A beauty!
And Ryan does have a very special dagger as he states!
But it needs to be re photographed to really do it justice!
This red one is just out of this world! Finest grip I have ever seen!

Question. Could that red Army grip maybe of had a white layer that had peeled off over time like the black grips and others?
