Imho the absolutely nicest Hirschfänger mit Hoheitszeichen (hunting dagger with national emblem) is the one by CLEMEN & JUNG. Yes, I know, there is a wrong troddel attached (the one which would be used with a shooters ass. dagger) but it did come to me this way and therefore I let it his way. Even more as I do have proper spare portepees. Regard.

My small contribution to the topic. These items were never super high on my list of favorites but one holding them, I'm always impressed by the workmanship and detail. Love them now.

Hello I don't really collect forestry or hunting items and this isn't an edged blade but a flag I've just picked up not too long ago. Double sided about 5ft x 8ft and with separately applied pieces. thanks for taking a look Duzig(Bill)

One out of a household, with the ultrarare forest green "Ost" cufftitle. Most collectors never have seen nor heard of it. I have also the certain shoulder boards and the collar tabs (the uniform jacket went to time) but these are not in the pic. In the "wearing-" pic you can see exactly this cutlass to be worn. Regards,

Would you mind posting a closeup of the German silver marks from your 5th Deutches Bundesschiessen silver cup held in Stuttgart in 1875. I have the same one I recieved from a deceased veterans spouse many years ago.More pictures of the Innsbruck cup would be nice as well.Thank you.

Its the hallmark of Eduard Foerh, the Royal court jeweler of stuttgart 1835-1904 Its a 13 Lot, that means 13 of 16 part silver, that would make this one being 812.5 / 1000 silver Cheers Ger

Gerrit Outstanding cups. Thanks for showing. Those are super Eagles. Remind me of the the Spanish version of the Blue Division East Front medal Eagle. That is one nice looking medal in my opinion, still want one. Ed

Gerrit,
Thank you for showing extra pictures for us. That Eisenbahn chain would have to be rare imo. I love it! Agreed, yes it is Edward Foehr thank you mine is the same maker. The Innsbruck cup; The marks are German. Do you know the maker? Can't see it very clear, maybe Hermann Konejung or C. Well, but it's only a guess. What is the mark above the 800 silver content mark? Very nice, Thank you in advance.
