We now have a place to talk sports, cars, movies!

What a wide range of topics we will have!

I think in time we can grow this section into something fun!

Yes I want to talk daggers and our beloved military! And we will!

But I want to have fun also!

We had a good run on cars here once! Take a look at threads and see what our members and friends showed!

At my age I love the memories! It was a fun time! We had the cars, the music, it was a funtime!

I hope we can all sit back and remember when!

Our friend Military Nut (God bless him) Andy was a rock in roller! He had 3 or 4 convertibles he had bought to cruz in!

He used to email me and always at the bottom mention a song from the 50's or 60's and group!

He knew his music! I had to look up and check on some! He knew the doo-wop!

I had to go back and check my oldies cds of shows and songs! Trying to show Andy I knew!

Some was a little early for me but classics I found later!

Now I like action and such!

Don't know if everything we will show in time is history correct!

I just like to be entertained!

Collectors

As we have now started a new section for many of our favorite topics,
and merged with others !

I think we will build up steam the closer to football at the end of summer!

As many collectors drift back and see what we have cooking, I hope we also get lots of new folks!

If they drop in to look they will find changes and options to their collecting needs!

Maybe share some fun again!

Now

The Beatles hit in 1964 and changed the music world like Elvis!

I can remember the 1st Ed Sullivan show! I was maybe 10 or 11!

It was a fun ride! Exciting! Had a pair of Beatle boots 5th grade!

Now most of our fathers were ww2 vets! Come summer us kids got the military hair cut!

Well let me tell you after the Beatles showed up!

Hair changed for kids! For good or bad!

I am pretty lucky in that the Rock and Roll Museum is here in Cleveland!

Have been to it 1 or twice and due to go again! Displays are amazing!

Also the football hall of fame is in Canton! 15 minutes from my daughter! 45 minutes from me!

Have been before but been awhile! I am due!

Are you going to the Wilmington show this Friday, just a few hours south of you on I71.
Never been to the RAR Hall, but went to tons of concerts in the day.
I worked at a printing company in Cincinnati for about 6 years, we printed the tickets to all the events.
One of my jobs there was to shred the bad tickets, except for the one I kept to get into the show.
Yes, those were the days.

My daughter just went to Texas with grandkids and I got the dog watch! Dog is on insulin!

I am stuck!

I like the Wilmington show!

Sad I can't go!

I did lots of concerts in my day!

I even paid 500.00 to sit 12th row for Paul Mcarthy! Wanted to see a Beatle! People stood for the whole show!

I had tickets for George Harrison and I was on myway thru a snow storm! Canceled!

Music was fabulous in the era! Saw many of the groups! Fleetwood Mac, oldies,Little Richard,Jerry Lee Lewis,Fats Domino.Wings,Dave Stuart,

somany!!!!!!

Yes, I really like that show also.
Took a huge financial hit last year, big shows are off for me for a while. But i still love to look.
Music, that was just all I did in the 60s and 70s.
Like I said, worked for the printing company, got the tickets before anyone knew the groups were coming, and usually free.
I saw everyone back then from Quicksilver Messenger Service to the Stones, Floyd, Who, Zepp, to Jimmy in a small venue, got to talk to him after the gig. I still have over a hundred stubs.
Those days are gone forever, except every nite around dinner spinning Vinyl.

Those were the days indeed! You were printing tickets! Inside scoop! HA!

I got close for Stones but never got in! They were a heck of a group! Still working it! Unblievable!

Yes you also saw some music!

I go thru moods and bring it back to life!

Remember when we had all that equipment to play! Cars had to have that sound!

A glorious time!
