I am PVON and have just started Collectors Corner with Ryan Sellick!
One of many sections hoping you stop by and vist!
We will try and connect the dots to your experience!

Hello fellow collectors, both new and old. I would also like to welcome you all here to Germandaggers.com Edged weapons are a captivating field of collecting. Although the hobby has much to offer there also exist numerous pratfalls. Reproductions and parts pieces abound. My hope is that you will all feel welcome here as you seek guidance, opinions and exposure. Perhaps we can steer you in the right direction relative to a purchase or an acquisition, or offer guidance to resources and reference material. I do not in anyway consider myself an authority, however, I have educated myself through published reference, attendance at shows and through membership in forums such as this one. I have made many contacts and friendships worldwide through the hobby and have seen and handled much since 1982. I can always offer an opinion or advice. My thanks and appreciation are extended to Paul "PVON" for taking on this great challenge to engage and to make GDC a valued information platform that is once valued and trusted within the collecting community. This is a daunting task but with your collective support and interest perhaps we can restore GDC to a semblance of its former "glory" cheers and best Ryan S.

Had to see how they look!
Will get a German Dagger one made for shows also!
Was testing size of letters etc!
Will be good for shows! I can't do SOS and not sure of Max
but fall shows I hope!
Have to get Vern to send some flyers!
Hope to have collectors see us!

Collectors corner is going to show many nice things and share items other collectors wanted to share!
I have been lucky in so many collectors are willing to share stuff!
They let me take photos of things and have lined up more to show!
Some are not computer savy or want people to know them!
Some are hoarders! Some don't care if they are shown!
I will be showing with Ryan a collection of cut off insignia from Fliegelblues.and jump smocks
from paratroopers!
I knew to take these amazing pics of pieces before collection was scattered to the wind!

As July 4th rolls forward I want to wish Happy holidays to the members!
And of course welcome the new collectors or folks coming back!
Edge weapons and daggers are covered heavy on this forum!
Hence the name German Daggers forum!
Looking back we have so many threads on daggers all can use for learning!
Now many of our upper long time collectors show things!
Keep in mind they like their stuff the most!
But don't get put off from showing or asking things!
Many of us are old! HA!!!!! Many are forgetful of when they 1st might have started!
Forgive us!
But lots of knowledge is here!

What I like on German daggers is we have a wide range of moderators that are very good in many sections
they might specialize in!
Not just one voice on a topic!
We have a very active Honor ring and ring section that draws collectors like no other!
