Hello all. I am not sure if my pictures will come through. If not, I’ll try again. These pictures are all I have now. The blade is covered in vasoline yet. I am mostly concerned about the wood around the eagle and the what looks like plating loss on the chape. I thought it should have been solid nickel. The screws look boogered. Could it have been changed? Does the eagle look correct? Thanks. Again, I am not sure of the pictures. I’ll try again if they don’t come through.

Vw,
Welcome to GDC
Most of it looks very good.
- The SS grip wood was sometimes brittle so the ragged look on the close up of the eagle is nothing to worry about.
- That lower scabbard fitting and screw should be nickel silver and should not rust but can tarnish. Not sure about that
Bigger pics should really help.
