Hi Gents,

Do you see any red flags with these two badges?:

Thanks

John

To my knowledge there are 4 designs of the AS in triangle badge.
The second badge you show looks like an Aurich badge not an AS in triangle.

No opinion yet on the first badge.

PAB collectors please give your valuable input.

A link to an older topic. It will give you something to compare against.

To my knowledge AS in a triangle is still unattributed.

I believe that "A.S." is for Adolf Scholze and "AS" in a triangle is for Adolf Schwerdt.

Well I did a bit more research and came to the conclusion that both of these PAB badges are fake, albeit very good ones especially the silver PAB, The hollowed out back of the silver PAB is too smooth/soft and the ball hinge does not have a flattened top. Also take note of the weird looking head on the fake. See images below. As for the Bronze badge, I believe this firm only made hollow back badges: http://quanonline.com/military/military_reference/german/replicas/fake_bronze_tank.php. I'm not sure the badges in the links you provided are genuine based on the pictures provided IMO,
