Yesterday I drove up to NJ to pick up some goods for the troops. While I was doing that one of my cousins came out and gave me this Spanish made 7.65mm Auto. does anyone have any idea where I can get replacement grips?

hi notagaru
good morning to you i see you have a spanish made 7.65 call called a royal i have had a few of them over the years where is the barrell if you dont have that then you dont need the grips as both parts are very hard to find in the mid fiftys i used to order grips from jac scott they made grips for every automatic pistol in the world now in order to possibly obtain grips for this spanish pistol you can try guns america and the outher gun auctionsorry i cant think of it at the moment . both have wanted sites before doing that you should go in a horse barn and get some horse poop on your souls of your shoes for luck because your going to need it i wish you the best andy militarynut

Good observation on the barrel. I have to go back to NJ and get it. My cousin's son took it apart and misplaced it. It's in the garage somewhere.
My uncle was stationed in China, USMC 1st MAW. He brought this back and a Samurai Sword which I'll be posting shortly. Also screwed with by the son.

The Royal, made by M. Zulaica y Cia, is an exact copy of the 1903 7.65 Browning. Parts should interchange. It was also sold under the name Vincitor. Just be aware that they also made an extended frame model that used a 12 cartridge mag and those grips would not fit wink

Thanks for the information. Last month I took a chance and checked on ebay. I was surprised to see an original set of grips, complete with the screws for $15.00. One of my friends is installing them and the correct barrel for me. I know it's not a valuable pistol but I'll have fun with it anyway.

The sword was shown on the Japanese Forum. The 30" blade is being polished.
