Dad was in the Navy, 1943-46, and the Army, 1948-1950. These are a few items he brought back. The knife is from Morocco, the bottom bracelet from Okinawa, the top bracelet and snake ring from Germany, and the pin from who knows where Comments welcome!

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind According to the jeweler who checked it, the ring has a genuine diamond and ruby in the snake heads.

VERY nice Vern,,all of them.. I have a period advert for the snake ring,,might take me some time but I'll find it. Yes, usually if a ring in gold the gems have a better chance of being real..
The knife has the same look as some of the Condor Leg rings from Spain!

- Considering the advert is just a line drawing I'd say thats a near perfect match! Super ring Vern! Might be worth have the gems looked at...
I've had a early 'Teens' Torah pointer and a brooch both with Rubies and Emeralds in them. Jewelers couldn't agree on the gems, real? or Swarovski? It got to the point they agreed that the only way to be 100% would be to remove the gems to inspect them! I never did as finally one old timer said to me the very early Swarovski pieces have a high value themselves! ,, anyway,, Great ring!
- Any hallmarks, content marks in the band??

Thanks for your comments. There are marks on the inside but even magnified they are too worn to read.
