Came across this interesting one...
Seller claims it came from Germany, and was given to a medical graduate... Circa early 1900's.
It appears to be old, but i am not a fan of the skull itself.
"The engraving in the ring seems to connect to that because it says; "vulnerant omni ultimo necat". The engraver misspelled the saying, officially it should say 'Vulnerant omnia, ultima necat' which translates to "all that wounds you, the last thing kills'' (all the hours wound you, the last one kills) The outside of the ring is decorated with engravings of a mythical or alchemic kind."

- Could also be Momento Mori ring.
- yes, looks like a hand carved/made skull... Band with sizing/joining seam towards front and skull soldered on. Inside engraving appears to be professionally done and probably when the band was flat.. It is reminiscent of our German made 'Tank Tread' skull rings made the same way and also early /prewar....
It's a nice ring,,If its not a fortune I don't think it would debase a collection of WW1 to 3rd reich era rings.
