, ,,welcome to the forum Mahler.!

I see what looks like a silver content stamp and a hallmark.. Can you show a photo of them?

Thank you Gaspare! This ring is not in my possession, so I can't take any decent picture of the hallmark. But here is what I got:
I tried to expose the image so it would be easier to identify the hallmark, I don't know if it's Frey & Co hallmark. In my eyes it looks like there's something before an F and after that there's a star? Maybe I'm wrong, I have no idea tbh.

My guess is that it's a Frey & Co hallmark. I've looked at other jewelry:

Some call the the Eastern Front Skull or I've heard Ukrainian Front.. Why? Well on the sides are the Poppy flower. The poppy is the flower of Ukraine..

So this pattern usually has very good detail and the band markings clear with the normal polished inner band.....

What I don't like is that the details are worn below the high points... Like the poppies on the band. You can just hardly make them out so the area that are taller [standing proud of] would be worn down completely,,,,and they are not..

It's got a lot of aging on it,,maybe too much. The inner band has all the nics, gouges, scratchers etc. but behind it or the spaces in-between looks like it was not well finished.. A tough call for me but my opinion is its a good fake with some very well done aging, wear and tear.. This pattern still coming around and if me I'd wait for a better example..

Thank you so much Gaspare, I thought so as well, that the aging was a little too much, and the lack of details in some places. This ring is is one of 3 rings that's going out on auction on the 15th november. If it wasn't for your comment I might have made a bid on it. Money saved for a better ring (y) thank you!
All the best to you!
