Any of you collectors remember these?

This one dated,looks like 1966. I had bought a couple in the early 70s.. One Luft visor metal eagle and wreath and another with the Army set.. I remember seeing these pith helmet ones,,also pretty sure SS examples. Even SS Eagle and 2nd type skull Skull, and a Veterans set.

Always the all metal insignia for visors with the exception of the pith helmet shields... Had a unit history on the back.. Some had this color card,,some had a green card.. I bought them back them as authentic pieces at the gun shows.. Story was there was so much left after the war that they were able to make up these cards..

My opinion,,they were made off original tooling, postwar. They made them until the tooling broke and then that was that. [?].

You guys remember any other different sets? You think they were authentic?

[I sold some of my collection mid 70s for M/C racing. Sold mine to a experienced guy that was 'restoring' a visor cap. He was 100% sure the Luft and Army set he got from me was authentic.]

I remember those! I believe some of them are original. Bill Shea sold a Wehrmacht set at SOS 5 years ago. As I recall, it went for $75. Quite a markup from the $1.50 price in the mid 1960s
