Hello,
Can you give me your opinion on this dagger and especially the scabbard.
Thank you

Just by looking at the cross guards and grip I could tell this was a Pack SA. The scabbard is also Pack but looks as though it may have been given a recent coat of brown paint IMO

Thank you
Does this piece retain an interest in a collection despite the repainted scabbard?

That's up to the collector. Its an original dagger in pretty good condition - Pack made excellent quality early SA daggers. The most important part of a dagger for most collectors is the condition of the blade. Pictures of the blade would be helpful

Blade looks great. I would say that's a highly collectible dagger you have there. Congrats!

That is a beautiful SA-dagger, but the scabbard is NOT the typical Pack version, the fittings should be different: more round!
Best regards,
Herman
