Hello I received from a friend from Koln this swagger stick and I want to know if it is real. My friend tell me that knows the item was from a german general from WWII.

Well pretty sure not a issued piece. Some sort of private purchase piece [?]
Seems kind of short. But it might have been shortened.. It is well made and nice quality.
The photo is pretty good but I can't make out the markings.. COUB?, DOLB? something under it,,not sure if more letters or a emblem. Maybe more shots of them........
IF they can be identified it will be the main part of your answer!
Lets see, Maybe one of the guys have seen one before..

Hello are only two marks and nothing more and I take a look very close and both marks are DOUB and below something that start with CR. My friend that give me this item and other items said that he have a photo with the general who keep this item in hand but don't know where is the photo. Tell that the man in the photo have many many medals on his chest and the galons near his neck was something like a golden wheat spic divided in three and another red colour like a line near them. It is my friend and this and another items was a gift and I payed nothing for them. Hope that my friend will find the photo and I know that he didn't lie .
