Rings of 40s have more massive band of ring (thick) and big skull

Thank you so much for the guidance Gaspare! In fact I am not that new in the forum :), it's been about two years that I am following this thread.
I have two ring from Hapur and have sent their photos in this thread before on page 6, I love the weight and sharpness of the details of Hapur's rings!

Good!. Glad you are still around.. Hapur uses a die and a press. You can see process on his site...

Evgeniy has a cast ring. Detail and depth are good because the mold uses a vacuum to evacuate air from the mold then releases the molten wax in to it which makes it 'fill' much much better.

Does your Hapur ring show any wear to it?

Thank you for the information, I have seen the Hapur's method for making rings, that is really interesting!

Hapur's rings look very brand new and I prefer that, how ever the overall shape of Evgeniy's ring seem to be very accurate, but I wish they looked more brand new, less weary with more crisp details.

Recently I had a guest who bought a famous copy of Meir from Canada, this is the ring that Don Boyle honored with his attention, noting that this is the most accurate copy and very high quality, and now let's compare with what Boyle signed, moreover, the ring, of course, also lost its size in scale compared to the original. It is not clear why Boyle gave them a quality copy certificate, everything looks very bad. Where is his lousy honesty and lack of principle ??? :grin: :crazy:
For comparison I used my copy that I wear everyday and now it ring not so perfect as new )))
IMO dont need trust to any certificates, we are must have open eyes

They can't be even compared!
