This is a nicely enamelled badge from Th?ringen . The text : Den Treuen Zum Danke, Den Treuen Zur Pflicht . Free translated : The Faihful To Thank, The Faithfull To Duty" .
I suppose that this is an appreciation badge from the NSDAP for...... what ? :) Any help is welcome.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for your answer. As you see the lion has a swastika in his claws .... The Nazis put it in the old Medival crest of Thuringen, if it was normal : in fact it is falcification of history what they did. :) I've puta pin with the original crest of Thuringen near the Nazi crest .

Hi Gaspare,
This stained glass window is a quality piece: nicely elaborated . Must be fascinating ,at a window, to see shining sunlight throug it. It is funerable; fortunatelly this beautiful piece has survived.

My English language is not the language I speak every day : Sorry It is vulnerable ( not funerable) .

Here's a whistle clip, these were worn above the left breast pocket with the chain looping across the chest with the whistle tucked into the jacket between the buttons. They were given to those who attended the Thuringer Feuerwehr school however I'm not sure whether these were given to all of the "students" at the fire school or whether they were a graduation award on completion of their time there. Either way they are tough to find.

I also have this one with "WL" under the helmet, I've no idea what it stands for. The metal is also of a higher quality, possibly nickle/silver so maybe for an instructor?

Thank you Gaspare. Here is a picture borrowed from http://www.hermsdorf-regional.de/chronik/Feuerwehr/1777-1945.htm showing the clips in wear.

Whilst I was sitting twiddling my thumbs & contemplating my belly button fluff during our lockdown, I remembered that I also have a nice D.Sch.V Ehrennadel from Thuringen as well.
