It is a British sword Knot . They were used by the Royal Tank Regiment (RTR), The Rifles, Royal Maritime Auxiliary Service (RMAS) and Warrant Officers Class 1 (WO1) of the British Army.

It came with either an Edward VII or George V sword. My mother bought me one of each in the 1960's.
