Has anyone seen or heard of Wilhelm Wagner Solinge Merscheid making any Heer, Luft or Navy daggers?

John

Thanks, Wotan.

Wagner is listed in Fisher as a maker of SA, HJ, NSKK and DLVs.

Dr73 posted pics of a Wilhelm Wagner DLV here on GD. I've seen another Wagner DLV sold from a dealer but it wasn't in good condition. Johnson sold an RLB EM dagger by Wagner at some point in the recent past but sadly his pics were typically awful. Brian Maederer sold a Marine SA by Wagner. Never seen an Army by Wagner, would love to see yours Wotan.

Hello Billy_G, I don?t own a WiWa myself, as said "dr" showed here one. As it was shown in the forum I feel free to post some of these pics again, if "dr" is against it I will remove them.

Thanks for posting these Wotan, I don't believe I saw this one the last time Danny posted it. Generic fittings as I'd expect and what a rare mark, wouldn't mind having it myself.

To my knowledge Wagner did not produce army daggers.
To me this is a complete partsdagger with a questionable gen. A guard
Gen. A guards does not come with a type A slant grip ( only one accepted is Christanswerke)
The pommel is a gen B.
Not one for me...

Ger
